The Best of April 2025

April in Denver marks the shift from winter to spring, with comfortable temperatures perfect for outdoor activities. Trees start to bloom, and there’s lots of bright blue sky…. and yet there is nothing more breathtaking than the snow covered Rockies. Getting patio furniture out and being able to have coffee outside is like a seasonal right of passage to me~ and I love it!

This month was filled with a lot of “the usual” … time with family, friends…. watching Cooper play lacrosse….some of my favorite workouts at The Yard gym.

I took a CE course to get my CES certification. A Corrective Exercise Specialist is a trained professional who focuses on identifying and addressing muscle imbalances, movement dysfunctions, and postural issues. Basically learned how to utilize a variety of techniques and exercises to help clients improve their movement patterns, enhance functional performance, and reduce the risk of injury. It was really a great learning tool and I am looking forward to utilizing it is some of my personal training programming.

And nobody is happier about the weather than Stitch and Rocco

Easter, Coop’s birthday, and a handful of other celebrations had me feeling a little “overindulged”, so I decided to do a little “personal spring cleaning”. Going into May I am feeling ready to set some new goals, dial in my nutrition, re-commit to staying hydrated, incorporate more walking into my daily activity. I always love a little reset when the seasons change! The first weekend in May starts my favorite South Pearl Street Farmers Market, and I am so ready for it!
